THE ENGLISH ALPHABET BASIC LEVEL.

HOW DO YOU SPELL YOUR NAME?

Spelling is a very important part of English, not just your name or your last name, but many words need to be spelled, for different reasons.

That's why in this section I'm including different links where students can practice the
alphabet.

Learn the names of each letter, then try to spell every single word you see around, no matter if that word is not in English, practice makes perfection, and every time you'll
be faster and will be more able to understand when an English native is spelling anything.

  • Lambourgini Veneno is the most expensive car.
  • The beatles were the most famous musicians in the 1960's.

We form superlatives with the particles the most, before long adjectives.            Beautiful  -   the  most beautiful.

Roses are the most beautiful flowers.

REMEMBER THE SPELLING RULES:

- When the adjective has one syllable and it ends with consonant vowel consonant, then the last consonant must be doubled.

big  -----    the biggest

healthy   -----   the healthiest

Irregular adjectives:

Good    -     Better    -   The best

To make comparative forms  we need to identify if the adjective is short or long, for example:

SHORT ADJECTIVES: (1 syllable adjective)

EXAMPLES:

  1. big  -  bigger
